Prim. Munira Hasanbegović, MD, MSc

Specialist in Urology 

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sarajevo with the title of Doctor of Medicine, and later obtained a Master’s degree at the same faculty in the field of urological infections, with a particular focus on bacteriological characteristics and the most common risk factors for urinary tract infections before and after endourological procedures.

She completed her residency in urology at the Clinic of Urology of the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo, where she is currently employed. She has commenced a subspecialization in urogynecology at the same institution and is in the final stage of preparing her doctoral dissertation within the doctoral study program Biomedicine and Health at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo.

Her main areas of clinical and scientific interest are endourology, functional urology, and urogynecology. She has been engaged in urodynamics for more than fifteen years, as a diagnostic procedure that is fundamental to the field of functional urology and serves as the basis for the evaluation of the most common conditions in urogynecology. She has extensive experience in the diagnostic evaluation and surgical treatment of urological conditions and diseases.
